Relaxed Family Retreat Near the Sea
Holiday Escape
– Sidmouth
Our clients brief to us was for a stylish but relaxed holiday getaway home with a more formal sitting room, a relaxing garden/tv room, formal dining area, guest suite and childrens’ rooms on the ground floor. The colour palette throughout the house is calm and neutral – greys and creams accented by strong blues, pops of warm colour, abstract art and statement lamps and styling. The master bedroom suite is situated in the loft and consists of beautiful bathroom, dressing room and the spacious bedroom area – it is elegant and cosy with a relaxing neutral scheme. The guestroom has a boutique hotel feel and the grandchildren’s rooms are fun and spacious.

“Having visited our home, Clayton & Company not only fully understood what style we were looking for but also helped to shape our thinking so that the end result exceeded our expectations. The design quality was first class. . Becky was a great project manager. She kept us informed at all stages; and was always available; managed relationships with service providers and suppliers and generally had a ‘can do’ attitude and approach. Given that the assignment arose during the pandemic, her performance was particularly impressive. Communication was first class with the company as a whole. The whole team who worked on the project were very efficient and did a first class job in all respects. Everyone was careful and thoughtful and always upbeat and enthusiastic. Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of the work undertaken was first class. The decorating was perfect as was laying the new flooring and carpets. This is the second time we have turned to Clayton & Company to help us with interior design. On both occasions we have been delighted with their ideas, design service and delivery. We have no hesitation in recommending clayton & Company to other potential clients. The quality of their work, from design through to delivery and after sales service cannot be faulted.”
