It all began almost half a century ago when Jane Clayton started our interiors business, and we have grown a lot since then. We are now a leading interior design company operating nationwide with a multi-skilled team for the design, supply and installation of fine interiors for all kinds of property, whether new homes, historic houses, retirement villages, smart hotels, offices or many other kinds of residential and contract interior.
As award winning investors in people, we are passionate about employing the best talent to continue our success. Today we have a team of almost 50 people who create and deliver inspirational interiors to our clients across the UK.

For Clayton and Company, the art of interiors means blending creative and imaginative design with a businesslike approach to cost and project management. We work very closely with you throughout and, uniquely, you will have your own skilled designer/project manager, who oversees your project from first meeting to final touches.
On Time, On Budget, In House
We move mountains to deliver on time, doing our best to contend with impossible deadlines, and we make sure that we work to agreed costings from the start, with no nasty surprises. But what really makes a difference is that we have a big in-house team who can handle complex projects without having to outsource all the work, as many smaller interior design practices do.
