Our brief was to design a show home full of character and warmth, appropriately encapsulating the beautiful coastal town of Appledore.
Given the very apt name of the development, we wanted to ensure that the interiors incorporated natural elements from the scenic coastal surroundings, such as wood, linen fabrics and greenery.
For the colour palette, we took inspiration from both the marine history and the colourful charm of the town centre. Opting for blues, burnt oranges and neutral tones throughout, the scheme feels warm and relaxing, with nods to the beautiful local surroundings.
The style category is a perfect blend of contemporary and luxurious. Using carefully selected furniture pieces and patterns, the scheme feels modern and fresh whilst remaining aspirational. We have ensured that the design photographs well and that it can be easily replicated by buyers from high street stores such as John Lewis and made.com.
We have completed the scheme with plenty of contemporary styling items along with family portraits and abstract artwork, which ties everything together creating a wonderful home that buyers will see themselves living in.
